Don't forget about these important events this week: Thursday 10/30- Chi Beta Epsilon Date Party: Mardi Gras Friday 10/30 - Gamma Chi Delta Date Party: Halloween Saturday 11/1 - TU Tailgate for Football Game vs. Milsaps @ 12:30: Greeks, TMN, TUVAC, ASR, Ambassadors, Tiger Council Remember that rush should be fun, NOT stressful. With midterms and pending finals, rushees should not feel like they need to attend every single rush event. Don't forget about school (you need a 2.0 to accept a bid in the spring- 2.5 for student athletes!) and your outside interests from rush (sorority members pride themselves in their varied clubs/sports and want new members who do the same). Topic: Date Parties - If you are attending a date party for a sorority, make sure that you RSVP on time! If there is bus transportation, make sure you're on time for the bus too. - Have fun with the theme!!! Get creative and dress to impress :) - Date Parties are supposed to be a fun social event between actives and rushees. Rushees should remember that a lot of work and planning goes into these events and that they should be respectful and cordial party guests.
