Greek Council Meeting April 14th

I. Women’s/Men’s Co-Chairs a. Greek Awards i. Extending deadline on nominations until 12 Noon tomorrow!!! Nominate your sisters and brothers! ii. There has only been one person nominated in each category so far…. So good chances of winning! iii. Awards given May 3rd after Greek Olympics b. SIGN UP for GREEK OLYMPICS!!! May 3rd c. PDKs made Standards Excellence – will get plaque in upstairs Coates!! YAY! i. We want A LOT of clubs to make excellence next year ii. Encourage standards chairs to make excellence please! d. Turn in receipts for packets/reports from Greek Council CCI cubicle – should be in this Friday or next Friday i. Please indicate who you want the check to be made out to, and need student ID number e. Leadership training April 26th 12-5 Sunday i. RSVP to Ben Newhouse ii. Usually bring someone in from outside to conduct training II. Rush/Orientation a. Everyone should have gotten an email from Jade – Meeting for rush chairs – Storch tomorrow b. Need dates for events – by drawing c. Old fraternity presidents should email Roberto with date for rush event, otherwise will have last pick for rush event date. III. Service a. G.I.V.E. April 25th, contact Lauren Medici b. Trinity Olympics 12-4pm Sunday May 3rd c. Writing letters to prospective students through the admissions office is NOT to be counted as service hours IV. Standards a. TRY TO GET EXCELLENCE!!! V. Josh a. Needs rosters from all clubs by Friday b. Rosters only from Spurs, Sigmas and Gammas, need in correct format i. Last name, first name, year, excel format, all in different cells ii. SEND TO JOSH AND JANAE!!! : iii. Elections=NEED LIST of next year’s officers to be sent to Josh and JaNae iv. Change in CCI next year: 1. Becky Spurlock going to Belmont University in Nashville, TN 2. We will have someone to fill position sometime between now… and later! We are searching for someone with a Master’s degree in Student Affairs, so Cesar unfortunately cannot submit his resume. 3. We will hire in May or June.
